GOUVERNEMENT DU PEUPLE RWANDAIS EN EXIL
The Rwandan People's Government in exile (GREX) is a Team of politicians and volunteers of Rwandans and their friends/supporters who decided to stand up and advocate for the interests of all Rwandan citizens. But, because of many various issues, GREX does its work while based in different countries on various continents as it prepares to lead Rwanda soon, for the betterment of all Rwandans.
The current regime in Rwanda has been oppressing Rwandans, closing and monopolizing the political space. They killed and put in prison several opposition leaders.
Moreover,
on November 23, 2016 and January 23, 2017, our leader, Padri Thomas Nahimana,and his Team were unjustly refused entry into Rwanda by the tyrant Paul Kagame to prevent him from standing for President in 2017 presidential elections.
For these reasons and many others, the Government of the Republic of Rwanda in Exile was formed on February 20, 2017.
OUR MISSION
Preparing to replace the RPF-Inkotanyi government, a terrorist and genocidal government, and establish a rule of law where the citizen is the center of all national interest.
Opening the political space and allowing free and fair general elections.
Building a nation that gives equal opportunities to all citizens, promises the independence of the judiciary and respect for human rights.
Establishing peaceful relations with neighboring countries as well as fair international cooperation.
TO RESIST (STANDING FIRM)
GREX calls all Rwandans to stand firm and RESIST the oppression despite the cost / the consequences of threats from the small military leadership and the few political group that use fear and intimidation to silence the population whose basic rights are violated. This resistance consists of thoughts and actions free of fear and intimidation, which are aimed at getting back the native land of Rwandans by the small political and fighting group that is not willing to share with other Rwandans the goodness of the country.
TO UNITE (BRINGING TOGETHER)
GREX seeks to UNITE all Rwandans as one, Those living in Exile as well as those living under duress in Rwanda and help them to demand the respect of their basic rights such as freedom of expression, equality before the law, all Rwandans having equal opportunities in their native land.
TO LIBERATE (SETTING FREE)
GREX seeks to liberate the native land and all Rwandans without any discrimination. It endeavors to underline the principle that every Rwandan is valuable in their country, and none has more value than the other, all Rwandans being equal. Rwandans are to be freed from slavery and from following blindly.
Rwandans are to take their own decisions and manage their own property with the right to look after their own interests.
Complete liberation is demonstrated by having a non-violation of one's rights based on a country in which the rule of law and equal opportunities are respected.
